    The minimum age to rent a BUDGET car is 21 years. Drivers that are between 21-25 years will be charged a young driver fee for each day of the rental with a maximum of 10 days.

  • Do I have to refuel the car before returning it to BUDGET?

    You are advised to return the car with the same amount of fuel as when you collected it. Any missing gas will be billed at current BUDGET rates.

  • Do you provide baby seats?

    BUDGET will take care of your children by providing baby seats. Do not forget to inform us when reserving your vehicle if you wish to have a baby seat. Baby seats and child boosters are charged at a nominal fee..

  • Can I leave the rented car in another BUDGET St. Maarten / St. Martin location?

    Yes, BUDGET gives you the possibility to leave the car in any BUDGET location on the island.

  • Are there possibilities to bring the BUDGET car after hours?

    The vehicle should be returned during the normal BUDGET station opening hours. Any vehicle returned outside the opening hours will stay under the customer's responsibility until the start of the next BUDGET working day. The rental period will stop when the BUDGET office re-opens, then the rental agreement is terminated and the amount charged will be calculated accordingly.

  • How do I get from Princess Juliana International Airport to my BUDGET car?

    A free BUDGET shuttle bus picks you up from the Princess Juliana International Airport and brings you straight to your car half a mile away.

  • What happens if my plane is delayed?

    If the Flight number is mentioned on the car reservation, BUDGET will wait for you in case of delay.
